"I went to a job interview the other day, the guy asked me if I had any questions , I said yes, just one, if you're in a car traveling at the speed of light and you turn your headlights on, does anything happen? He said he couldn't answer that, I told him sorry, but I couldn't work for him then." -- Steven Wright
now thats a damn good question... does anything happen? now, like i said before, the nuns didnt let me take physics, so you boys who know whats going down in the world of physics need to tell me if something indeed happens...

It's a hypothetical question that has no definitive answer.
Only objects without mass, like photons, can travel at the speed of light. As a massless object approaches the speed of light the amount of energy needed to accelerate it increases more and more, so that an infinite amount of energy is needed it to increase it to the speed of light.
Say the car was going just shy of the speed of light then. You wouldn't notice any observable difference. Light from your car's headlight would appear to be moving at the speed of light from your relative position, and would be reflected back by other objects in classic form.
