Uhh.. yeah from page 2.. Is there a leader of [BGG] B/C I would like to help get the training thing up and running.. *As well as everything else* but yeah that would make it easier on military to no thave to worry about noobs in the branches.. Im not that great at melee.. but im decent. I am able to tell how to make zerg organized, as well as toss, need work on terran =/ But yeah.. I am applying for Royalty, with the fact that i've been in the CM before.. and I have joined [BGG].. so I am gonna get somewhere in this..

Well, I'm not sure as far as who leads Bgg goes. There may not be a current leader. And those "noobs" as you put it can be trained to be better. They are going to need your attention though, and the attention of everyone else that you put into the branches. Questions, comments?

Exactly what I meant, we need a training regiment for the "noobs" as I put, and the one we got well.. Sheesh, couple comp stomps like wolf said in another post then u can have it made.. But i'll leave this to the higher ranking ppl to decide over.. for now..

Honestly, the best way for a gamer to get better is to study the building and massing tactics of good players. If they can recreate a base setup that can mass produce units quickly, then they will be able to pump rather effectively.
If you can master pumping out a lot of units in a short amount of time, you'll win pretty much any game. SO, perhaps we should have them game with elite gamers, then save the replay to watch and study what he/she did in the game. Once they do that, they could adopt a massing tactic and use it to get better.
However, a ranking system based on that training regimen might be...difficult...to create.

I believe that rank system would have to be based completely on skill. When the people think they are ready they challenge a higher ranking person to a game. Also one person joins as a observer. Although that ranking system would have kinks.

Well remember that the BGG is supposed to train people. Such a rank system might work for the Corporate Military or some elite gamers branch, but that kind of a system would discourage newbs in the BGG and probably make them leave the clan.
Perhaps the BGG could adopt the CM's mandates. They'd have to be adjusted, of course, but it might work.

Thats a good idea wolf, but as we know, BGG is not a member branch, its a self-done thing that isnt popular atm. To place mandates in effect, we would need a member system in this branch, and a roster of the people. Also, we would need what we were talking about.. a better training system. Everything would have to be changed and we would need our admins back.
If they are to discouraged by the overwhelming size of the forums, they dont need ot be in our clan anyway, therefore, since newbs would only be the ones discouraged, bgg would be rendered useless, and we would not get recruits.

This isn't a time to "stay the course" Drac, something needs to change. Creating a roster/member list would be rather easy. Over time, we can make a list of all of the graduates of the BGG, something to be proud of. We'd only need one moderator to check on the BGG maybe once a day. The rest of the training system would be self-done and we would simply update the forums as needed.
And if you truly believe that the forums are pushing people away, then we will repair or replace it. But I'm still waiting for the meeting with Crow.

As You guys are aware, [BGG] is not an actual "prove urself" traing camp. 0-100 games played, not won graduates you. Hopefully in 100 games you have learned to play somewhat. It would be great if elites would work with the newbs to better their game, but most don't like to play with nubs. CM shudn't be an elite only club. It is the bulk of Buu's army and should be decent players lead by elites. And Elite's should have some small branches for just themselves for serious battles. But its all just my "old fashioned" POV

No not at all, you are correct. But we believe that the training regimen for the BGG simply needs to be tougher. Such that they would be able to join the Corporate Military immediately after they graduate without embarrassing themselves.

Well what do you think about helping them improve in a single race? They will have their favorite already picked out, we'll just try and amp it up a bit. Show them a handful of strategies pertaining to their race and try to make sure they know some sc basics: unit vs unit (what works) resource management (what to buy and when)
Comments,...Ideas?

Well.. just test them in all races and then train them in their weaknesses, if bgg wont work, remove it and put a training mo dinto Corporate Military, but it wont be the CM, itll be like a recruitment branch, but LEADING into the CM, and nothing else, I liked the idea of rank points but, we need a new system that works.. Putting a roster in BGG wont change the fact that people will join us.. we need to get our name out there.. somehow? If desired, I could put up idle recruiting bots to help.. Whatever need to be done, tell me. Also.. Nihk has left the Clan Buu channel for Warcraft3 to me.. so anyone got WC3??? Lemme invite u.. But, if we do grab a new forum.. lord knows whats going to change beside our new system.. branches could fall.. o me g.. Good idea, but risks.. idk.. If needed I could start working on a new site ASAP.. gimme some info. .. and if you question my site making abilities?!! Lmao.. destructionn.proboards84.com All me.. took 4 hours... *the theme was hard as hell* Was a call of duty version of Buu.. friend worked on it and chnged it since I can run a server myself.. but w/e.. Has almost same ranking system.. But I was hoping to make it and meet new SC players to expand the Clan..Forgot I cant make servers w/out money!! lmao.. surf through w/e.. but dont post, if my friend gets a server he wants to use it fora clan.. Ill make another test one if wanted.. will take a bit for the code but w/e

Dude....ow....my eyes >.<
Could you like...make that so it isn't all one big paragraph?? Anyway, the problem with only being good in one race is that choosing "Random" at the start screen makes it harder for your opponents to know which race you will be (and therefore which tactic you are likely to use)
In some games, the host will ban you for choosing a race rather than going "Random," because it is a dead give-away of noobness.
However, focusing only on one race might be a good for training, although it would only work temporarily. I mean, eventually they are going to want to build up the other races to open up some options (and because one race gets boring after awhile).
So those are my thoughts.
