The Corporate Military is unlike any of the other divisions. Instead of focusing on the bureaucratic aspects of clan involvements, members of the Militia focus on two things: their training, and their games against opponents. Orders come from the top down, with final say coming from the Corporation itself.
With experience comes skill. With skill comes wins. This is the goal of the Corporate Military. Your rank is designed to show your skill and devotion to the branch. Ranks are achieved and earned, not given.
There are several ways to increase your rank and merit. These include, but are not limited to; 2v1 replays, 3v1 replays, etc, Personal achievements set by one or all of the Corporate Council, completing training, so on and so forth.
Upon joining the Corporate Military you'll automatically be granted the rank of Dirty Serf (0). Going up in rank will be dependent on your win/loss ratio, as well as how often you are active. Promotions will be given by superiors in the Royalty, or by those higher up in the corporate military.
[glow=teal,2,300](0) Dirty Serf:[/glow] "Nubs" of the Corporate Military. These have yet to undergo training and cannot receive promotions until they have been bumped up to Guardsman(1). A Dirty Serf is no better than any average pubby.
[glow=teal,2,300](1) Guardsman:[/glow] Set free from the "nub" rank of Dirty Serf, these guys are the youngguns set out to be promoted as quick as possible. Hangin around at Guardsman isn't gonna get you anywhere fast. You took the first step so continue the path and get that rank up!
[glow=teal,2,300](2) Quartermaster:[/glow] Now it starts to get interesting. Once you've overcome the beginning steps the rest should be a breeze right? Wrong. This is where you have to show vital improvement and continue on the right path. Gettin lazy isn't a sign of a good Corporate Military member. However, Quartermaster is kinda like sayin, "Hey. I'm above nubs, but not good."
[glow=teal,2,300](3) Captain:[/glow] Here's the last step to overcoming your newbie era of the Corporate Military. One step to get into the Union and adjust to having some responsibility. Captain's an alright title, but your rank shows nothing. Ditch the name and go for rank.
[glow=yellow,2,300](4) Marshall:[/glow] Marshall Marshall Marshall. Welcome to the Corporate Union. Here's where the responsibility begins. You're now expected to know how to get promoted. You also start your recruiting for the Corporate Military. Although you can't have final say on someone joining, you will be noted for your effort in expanding the Corporate Military.
[glow=yellow,2,300](5) Lieutenant Colonel:[/glow] Just keep moving up. The only difference between this rank and Marshall is the number next to it. You're expected to be one step ahead of a Marshall, but not far.
[glow=yellow,2,300](6) High Marshall:[/glow] High Marshall is where you start getting respect. You're able to represent the Corporate Council in try-out games and not be questioned. You're now around that point in a man's life when he turns eighteen and gets looked at like a man sometimes, but then again like a child in the same sense.
[glow=yellow,2,300](7) Major General:[/glow] Bases loaded, two outs, and a full count. Step up to the plate and hit a homerun into the Corporate Council. You've worked hard thus far and it's about to pay off. You're the top gun under the Corporate Council. There's just a swing and a hit to go.
[glow=blue,2,300](8) Honorary General:[/glow] Welcome to the big league son. You've worked a shit load to get here and we don't expect you to leave once you've made it. You're now consideblue a top player within Buu. You can accept applications and you're now a part of any big decision making within the Corporate Military. You're expected to attend any Corporate Council meetings and represent your branch with the upmost dignity.
[glow=blue,2,300](9) Chief of Staff:[/glow] The single highest rank acheivable by the general public. Termination, membership grants, and demotions are in your hands. You've done it. You're at the top of your game and you deserve it. In council meetings your vote will be counted as two votes on any decisions or debates we may have.
[glow=blue,2,300](10) Grand Marshall:[/glow] Second in command. If at anytime the Grand Admiral is unable to perform his duties the Grand Marshall will fill in. Grand Admiral can also perform try-outs, promotions, and terminate/accept memberships. Any council meetings will be held by the Grand Admiral. This position is limited to one person. In council meetings your vote will be counted as three votes on any decisions or debates we may have.
[glow=maroon,2,300](11) Grand Admiral:[/glow] Sole leader of the Corporate Military, the head of the council, and overall decision maker. Try-outs, promotions, and your membership lies within your hands. In council meetings your vote will be counted as three votes on any decisions or debates we may have.
